Pathology Consultants of New Mexico has an open Insurance Specialist position, and we are seeking the right candidate to join our team. Basic duties include verification of insurance, data entry, basic patient account care, and obtaining insurance information in a timely manner from clients and patients. Strong typing skills, computer knowledge, analytical skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail is required.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Prior insurance or billing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. All candidates must have strong computer and technical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to the success of this position. Must enjoy working with others in a team environment.

Job Description for Part-Time Transcriptionist:
Pathology Consultants of New Mexico has a flexible, part-time position available in transcription. Our services are in anatomic pathology and cytology, and the duties will include transcribing gross/macroscopic descriptions and diagnosis, adding outside molecular and consults in our reports, ICD10 and CPT coding, and some case entry.
Requirements are to have a basic understanding of medical terminology, typing 80+ wpm, and proficient with Microsoft Office Software. Some experience in pathology transcription and coding is preferable. Must have a desire to be part of a team and working with the team to complete duties daily, being detail-oriented, and following instructions/procedures exactly.
Work schedule is flexible, part time Monday-Friday from approximately 3:00 pm-7:00 pm MST, and available for weekend work, alternating with other staff.
